The Menderes Gold Project is located in the Izmir Province, Turkey

  Site access is via local paved roads from the coast, 20kms from provincial capital of Izmir

  Access through 90% owned Turkish subsidiary; remaining 10% of owned by Aegean Gold Madencilik Ltd. Şti.

  Excellent potential to host low to medium sulphidation, gold-mineralized epithermal vein systems

  Contiguous to the south of Eldorado Gold's 22.6 km² Efençukuru Mine

EXPLORATION 2011


  • Completed $750k exploration program

  • Work consisted of geological research, data compilation, prospecting, sampling, trenching & pitting, mapping, assaying, and report preparation

  • Geochemical sampling has been completed over a 5 sq km area, with 1,360 soil samples and 98 rock chip samples collected since March 2011.

  • 2 IP anomalies have been identified and correlate with the geochemical samples.

  • Drilling permits received Q4/2011

EXPLORATION 2012


  • Up to 3,000 m drill program over 9 holes

  • Fully permitted for 20 drill holes

  • Continue mapping and assaying of Menderes permit area

  • Application to convert Menderes Exploration Licenses to 10 year Operating licenses has been submitted and approved.

DRILLING PROGRAM 2021


  • The current exploration focus at Menderes will concentrate on the southeastern strike extension of the Kokarpinar vein system with current inferred resources of 2.3Mt grading 6.64 gpt Au for 491,000 ounces of gold (43-101 Technical Report, Eldorado Gold, 2019).

  • Drilling commencing in early June 2021

  • Diamond drilling program for up to 1,000 metres
